We know it’s taken us a while but we’re moving forward … slower than we’d have liked but forward, nevertheless.
There was just so much to do at the Marselle Clinic it’s been a daunting project. Sometimes a cliché best describes the problem - we couldn’t see the wood from the trees.
But we have already undertaken:
- Fence (Clear Vu)
- Galvanised motor gate
- Patient waiting area benches
- Electrical repairs to COC level
- Ceiling repairs in one area
- Ceiling replacement in another
- Roof repairs
- Various plumbing upgrades
- Window pane replacements
That’s a heck of a lot and that is in addition to all the ad hoc daily repairs such a water leaks, mending locks, doors and handles …
Anyway, we are moving ahead and in a blink of an eye there will be a new floor throughout the clinic. And a brand-new hygienic floor at that.
We raise money, to enable us to accomplish this and many other projects, from our charity shop, our weekly charity auction and our fantastic buy and sell WhatsApp group, Posh Paraphernalia Profits. As well as some significant donations from a local trust and generous gifts from our special community.
And coming up soon is our Annual Do Good Feel Good run (or walk) on Sunday 6 September at 11:00 do please join us it is a lot of fun.
And if you’re out of town or out of salts and can’t participate, please pop a small donation into our account. Each and every little bit goes a long way to helping us …
