Sister Zelda Neethling
Please meet Sister Zelda Neethling. No doubt she’s already a familiar face to many community members since she’s in charge of our local clinic! She has been the Operational Manager for six years now, and before that, PHC Manager for the Kouga Sun-District.
The fact that she has been with the EC DOH for all of twenty-five years testifies to her commitment and dedication to this caring and frequently demanding profession. This is far more than a mere job for this special lady.
Zelda finds fulfilment in caring for patients and in teaching staff, and her focus is on delivering quality care sometimes under very difficult circumstances. Her now adult children, honest and caring people and friends and a simple “Thank you” from a patient – these bring her joy.
She loves wildlife, and in her free time you’ll find her renovating and decorating her home, or walking on the beach in summer. To relax, Zelda reads and watches movies.
