Navigating the Holidays When You’re Grieving

Cost: R300 per person, limited to 10 participants

This workshop is designed for anyone who is recently bereaved or has a hard time over the festive season.
This three-hour bereavement workshop is designed to help participants manage the holiday season. The workshop incorporates mindfulness and positive psychology principles to support individuals to navigate grief and find meaningful ways to cope during this time. A detailed programme will be supplied on registration.

Meet Susan McGarvie.

Susan is a local girl who grew up on a farm near Kenton. After spending some time away, she’s circled back to her roots, and now offers mindfulness-based therapeutic coaching and counselling both in-person [in Kenton] and online.

Susan’s background includes degrees in nursing, business management, palliative care, and psychology, alongside decades of experience in healthcare, non-profits, and academia. Her evidence-based practice integrates positive psychology, mindfulness, coaching and adult learning principles and approaches.
